Can mashed potatoes cause this much pain?
--
True story.
When I was about twenty or so years, I started getting these aches in my hind part of my mouth. Just right where my mouth sort of meets my throat, or whatever it’s galled behind there, it really started hurting in my jaw.
I couldn’t chew on hard things. Eating chocolate and candy was of course out of the question.
I couldn’t even chew on docile things like for example mashed potatoes, oatmeals and even soups made things difficult.
At first, it was just annoying.
I’d look forward to make myself some eggs and bacon. But couldn’t have it.
‘Oh well. What about an oatmeal?’
Well, maybe, but then maybe not.
‘It sort of feels like I’m eating something I shouldn’t. It hurts but it doesn’t really hurt. Strange. And not a good feeling.’
Cannot have that either.
‘What about soup?’
Yeah, maybe, as long as it doesn’t burn?
‘Oh, wait….I cannot eat that either?’
‘Well then, what in Heaven’s sake is going on inside there?’
I’ll tell you what went on inside there — wisdom teeth were appearing.
On both sides.
They actually hurt so much I couldn’t even open my mouth in the end. For a couple of days in a row all I could eat was yoghurts, soups and drinking beverages. I could hardly speak. Even doing stuff which meant I moved my head, hurt a lot.
And when I say a lot, I really do mean a lot.
My pain eventually ceased.
After a week or so, the worst pains went away. Then another week after that, all the pains stopped. And soon thereafter I could function normally again.
However, unlike me, people who suffer from chronic pain disorders such as TMJ — temporomandibular Joint Disorder, aren’t that lucky. They’re confined to a life in complete and utter pain. Non-stop. In their upper and lower jaws. All because of a skewed jaw pair and inflammation.
Skewed jaws aren’t that easy to fix.
Maybe a jaw surgeon could help you.
I don’t know.
Inflammation in joints, even in jaws, though.
Well, that’s another case.
CBD oil could fix it for you.
All you have to do is give it a chance.
Why don’t you go ahead?
