How to make your intestines explode in a frenzy
--
Perhaps ‘explode’ isn’t quite the right word to use here, but I couldn’t think of any other better way to frame it at the moment.
Anyway, I used to be overweight. Standing at 5'11 of height, I packed on a good 255+ lbs of weight. A lot of it, too much in fact, was fat. Around my waist, in my face and just all over my body. I was a lardball. I don’t even know if that’s a word you can use. I just came up with, but I think you know what I mean. I was in very bad shape, and my blood pressure levels were getting higher and higher. Worst thing was perhaps that I myself thought that I was in good shape, just because I went to the gym a lot.
But going to the gym and even running several times a week doesn’t help much when your waistline increases.
Not only did I obviously not like the shape of my body, but I started sweating a lot. In fact, whenever I was staying inside, I would get these sweat stains on my back, in my armpits and often on my chest. It got so bad I couldn’t lift up my arms eventually without revealing how soaked my shirts were.
Not to mention the smell, too.
Quite nasty.
But that was far from everything. I also struggled with a lot of back pain issues. What’s interesting is, I used to have those issues when I was a younger kid, right before my teens. Then, as I became a teenager, they sort of went away. However, eventually, as an adult and an overweight, they re-appeared.
In short, my life wasn’t all that good.
So, I decided to make a change. I knew I had to discipline myself with respect to the kind of food that I put into my mouth. So I started doing intermittent fasting. Didn’t eat before noon. And not after 8 PM. I also heavily cut down on carbohydrates and overall processed foods. In the end, I wound up eating mostly meat, vegetables and eggs. And consuming lots and lots of water.
The result spoke for itself. Within a year’s or so time, I’d dropped at least 60 lbs. I now looked healthy, and people commented on my looks. So far, so good.
But, there were a couple of ‘side effects’ that came with this weight loss. Such as for example being unable to eat foods like pasta or bread. Now, when I say ‘unable’, I don’t mean that I couldn’t eat the foods (I still do every now and then), but things sort of happened inside my stomach. Such as my stomach bloating up, making it look like I was almost pregnant. And it also caused a lot of gas in my intestines, so that I would get these rumble sounds in my stomach. Oh, and by the way, that gas had to leave the body somehow.
Guess which one was the easiest way?
What I’m trying to say is, because of my newfound way of life, I have to stay away from bad foods in general. My body just can’t handle them very well. You’d think that that was a good thing, but if you think about it, it means that having a ‘cheat day’ and eating foods you know you shouldn’t eat, but you want to do it anyway, just isn’t that appealing anymore.
So, that was my sob story for the day.
It’s not really bothering me that much, and for sure I defy my body every once in a while. It’s just that when you start experiencing heavy heartbeats when you consume sugar, you get a little worried.
Instead of relaxed.
So, what has this got to do with chronic pain disorders? Well actually, more than you think. Because, a lot of people who suffer from fibromyalgia have similar issues. They get these pain flares whenever they eat unhealthy and processed foods. It’s almost like it’s their bodies’ defence system against outside intruders.
Some people even get allergic and asthmatic reactions from these foods which in turn trigger their fibromyalgia.
Ain’t an easy life, indeed.
I’m not saying that CBD oil can make your body more susceptible to eating bad foods, nor that you should strive to eat as much of it as you can. I’m just pointing out that CBD oil has helped many people relax and deal with their anxiousness and depression issues. Oh, and their pain problems as well.
Whether they get pain relief from their stomach issues following eating bad foods, I don’t know.
But I do know that CBD oil has helped save the life of many a patient, and that people literally feel like they’re being reborn again.
Do with that information as you like.
Me, if I were suffering from chronic pain, I’d immediately order some CBD oil right away.
But I dunno if that’s just me…
