Mocking the atheists a little

One of the dumbest things I saw about pain was when religion was discussed.

To be clear, I’m not blasting religion. I’m in fact encouraging that you find your personal faith and benefit from it. Many people have said their faith in a higher power makes them feel better. And after all, isn’t that what we’re looking for?

Now of course, praying to God if you have fibromyalgia will likely not cause the pain to vanish.

Maybe you’ll make peace with your mind.

Maybe you’ll even feel like your pain is slowly winding down.

And if you’re a staunch believer in any divinity, could your prayers perhaps move your focus from your pain to other things in life? So that you become less preoccupied with thinking about how bad you’re doing, and you’re focusing on what’s good.

And that will help you fight away the pain.

Maybe.

However, the dumb thing I was alluding to, was how some atheist all of a sudden jumped into a discussion about faith and basically made fun of any religious person using passive-aggressive and snarky comments.

The discussion was about how praying may help you deal with the pain.

Or even make it less.

But the atheist in discussion didn’t quite comprehend.

So he used an extreme example of being in a car accident and having one’s leg hanging off. The idea was that praying wouldn’t take away the immense pain that you’d be suffering from when such a thing happened.

And, he’s probably right.

If your leg has been torn off, praying won’t fix the problem.

But, we’re not talking about pain from an acute injury that’s life-threatening and demands immediate action.

Only a fool would be so dumb as to actually think that prayer alone would fix a torn off leg.

Of course prayer alone isn’t enough.

But let’s say this thing happens to you (God Forbid).

You tear off your leg in a car accident. You’re rushed to the hospital and you need surgery. Doctors actually manage to fix your leg, but you have to be in a wheelchair for months and you need to be on all sorts of drugs.

You’re in pain every day.

Don’t you think that prayer could have possibly helped you, albeit a little, when dealing with the pain?

I won’t make any claims. I do not encourage anyone to stop taking their medications as issued by their doctors and think that prayer alone is going to solve anything.

However, if not prayer, nor a regular lab drug can cure your pain and you don’t know what to do and it’s really frustrating, what about trying Mother Nature’s own elixire?

CBD oil.

No prayer is needed.

No prescription or deal with any insurance company is needed either.

All you need is to go online and order it.

See how easy that is?
