On so-called ‘Energy’ drinks

It’s time for a little rant again.

This time I’d like to talk about something that is near and dear to my heart. Something that’s been bothering me for a long, long time. And something that I see is affecting people in the world in a most negative way.

Yes, I am talking about them so-called ‘Energy drinks’ or loaded sugar bombs will with liquid junk as I like to call it.

Because that’s what they are.

Think about it for a second.

Aside from teenagers who are in their developmental stages physically, who’s the ordinary consumer of these drinks? Well, I’ll tell you. Mostly fat, unhappy and lazy people. People who do not go to the gym routinely, people whose diet and sleep are awful and people who need that constant re-filling of a dopamine rush or another ‘high’. They are essentially addicts, looking for the next wonder to take them to the sky.

Even though it won’t.

You know, just like me, that even the sugar free Energy drinks contain all sorts of artificial sweeteners, various additives, color substances and whatever else. Literally the inverse of what a healthy drink is. Like water. Or black coffee, green tea or some such.

Pause for a second.

Look at people who consume 4–5 L of water every day. Yes, they exist out there. I am one of them. How are their physical shape? How are they doing overall in life? Well, I’ll tell you that I haven’t seen any fat or obese person consume that much water yet. And if they are, they’re in the process of losing their fat.

I’ll say it here [on the written record]; ‘You’ll never see an athlete consume copious amounts of Energy drinks.’

Yes, I do know exceptions apply. I’ve seen and been around enough people to know that. Some of these famous boxers and UFC fighters might consume some of these drinks. One here and one there. I doubt they stuff their body full of that crap. Take notice how, in most cases, the drink in question is a main sponsor of some fight card and how it’s all about the fighter in question holding the drink instead of consuming it. I’ve also always seen the fighter take one or two sips and then the camera moves away. It is tempting (and logical in my opinion) to deduce that the fighter is discarding the drink. I do not know. Also, look at all the press conferences and so on. Yes there are these energy drinks on the table, but who drinks them really? Who touches them? No one.

Take from that what you will.

These athletes just serve as marketing intermediaries.

In fact, as much as I disagree with Dave Portnoy on a number of stuff, I’d like to quote what he said when Tucker Carlson asked him how much pizza he was eating during his famous pizza reviews.

‘Only a couple of slices.’ or some such is what Dave said.

Obviously I’m paraphrasing. But if Dave were to eat a whole pizza for every time he did those reviews I think he wouldn’t have looked like he does today…which is putting it mildly.

So.

Leave the Energy drinks.

Drink more water and black coffee.

And if you need help working on your Energy in way that really works, I know perfectly well whart you need.

I already mentioned what sort of ‘Energy drinks’ you were supposed to drink. But life is more than just consuming liquids. I am talking about really lifting your Energy levels up so that it shows.

To build that charisma that most people are searching for.

To do so, you’ll need to deep dive inside your own mind and actually eliminate all of the distractions around you. And no, most of those distractions are not what you think they are.

I’m not going to spoil anything.

I just want you to know that I wrote a whole book on this topic.

And now you get to read this book FOR FREE.

That’s right.
