‘Please send me pictures of babies, pets, positive pics!!’

‘….I’m gonna need them this weekend.’
As I’m typing these words, there’s a Hurricane of some sort hitting the Florida coast. I believe it’s called Eta. I don’t know what it stands for, nor do I really care. And I’m quite sure that the person who uttered these words really don’t care at all.
Assuming the hurricane doesn’t cause total destruction, that is.
Anyway.
A woman uttered these words in a closed group on a social network somewhere on the Internet. She’d been suffering from bad weather, chronic pain and had been awake for a total of three nights in a row. Now, if you think staying awake for three nights in a row *isn’t* something, then I don’t know. Maybe there’s something wrong with you.
Either that, or you have to be joking.
Because, anyone who’s missed one night of sleep know how tough and gruelling the next day can be. You wake up, and you can feel in your whole body that you haven’t slept well. You’re aching, you’re tired and it physically feels like your body weighs a ton. Or more. Like your limbs are made out of lead or steel. They’re physically heavy to lift. You exhaust yourself by doing mundane tasks such as putting on pants, dressing up and brushing your teeth.
Not to mention taking care of kids, cleaning the home or going to work.
In fact, here’s a horror story about how badly sleep can affect you.
Or, I won’t call it a horror story.
But, it demonstrates what lack of sleep can do to you.
A freshly baked mom was out strolling with her newborn child. Of course, anyone who’s had a kid knows, they sort of mess up your sleeping routine in the worst possible way. And this child was no exception.
The kid’s mother was so sleep deprived and confused, she actually forgot to close all four doors on her car!
It wasn’t until the police gave her a call that she realized what she’d done.
And of course, she hurried up back home, closed all four doors and made sure to lock her car.
Now that ain’t too bad you may think.
But what if she’d actually managed to forget her child in the car and just started walking with her stroller, without her baby? I know it sounds crazy, but when you hear about how people literally have left their children behind at a gas station in the middle of nowhere and they all of a sudden get a phone call after two hours, it all of a sudden doesn’t sound so crazy anymore, does it?
So whether you’re living in Florida, are afraid of a hurricane, or you’ve forgotten to take your baby with you in the stroller, there’s always the possibility to do something about the sleep deprivation.
You could go the usual way by asking for a lab induced drug that usually comes with a bunch of nasty side effects.
Or, you could go with CBD oil.
So which one is it?
