There are many reasons for Why you should ditch your current friends and seek out New ones.

Or even stay lonely if that is how your life is currently set up.

First off, your friends are probably your former high school classmates and/or childhood pals. The guys you used to hang out with after school. Playing football together, watching tv and other unproductive stuff. Now, your friends have grown up, yet they really haven’t. They seek out comfort over discomfort. Seek to Watch Netflix and eat Lay’s potato chips instead of Getting themselves to the Boxing gym and eating healthy. Smoking weed and doing Ayahuásca instead of sparring and doing improv or standup. And so on.

Basically they are sloths and they are decelerating your momentum.

And, speaking of decelerating your momentum;

They do not approve of your success. They do not like that you are starting to make more money than them, being around more important people than them and Getting in better shape.

They always find reasons to prevent you from growing.

They want you to get down to their level again. To all their silly jokes. To their boring lives. To regarding happy hour and Super Bowl while chewing on dumplings their end goal. And to stop you from thinking big.

They want to suck out your will.

And your Energy.

EE: Energy Enabler. A positive, happy and uplifting person that makes you feel good and who wants you to succeed. They always cheer for you and they want to Believe in you. Makes you want to want to go around and affect other people in the same way. Often good looking and successful.

EV: Energy Vampire. Someone who brings you down mentally and psychologically. Often they attack you passive aggressively or they use your attention to make themselves feel good. Hardly or never compliments you. You feel like all life has been sucked out of you when you interact with them.
