The war on drugs continues…
…but it’s a different kind of war.
Although tv shows like Narcos have made it ‘cool’ to watch people getting killed over drug smuggling and other kinds of activities related to the production of narcotics, as well as all the drama and intrigue in the whole cartel industry, I’m not referring to that kind of war.
Leave that as it is.
I’m talking about the US Government’s war on marijuana.
First of all, I’m not a medical expert, so this is based on hearsay. Having said that though, I saw an American drug store online frantically lambasting its own government, claiming that the US Government won’t allow cannabinoid studies until cannabinoids have been thoroughly studied. In other words, labs and universities are prohibited from carrying out research because there hasn’t been enough research carried out already.
It’s kind of like the old argument about what came first. The chicken or the egg.
Now, I don’t want to get political here. Like I said, this is based on hearsay. If any US government official with the right sources can correct me, I’d be more than willing to listen.
However, just because research isn’t allowed in the US, that doesn’t mean that the rest of the world stops up.
In particular not Brazil.
A study that recently was published showed that amongst 24 Parkinson’s Syndrome patients, 30 mg of CBD oil, ‘significant reductions’ of anxiety and tremor were seen. No side effects were spotted. The study was also double blinded. For some reason, this story didn’t run in the main news outlets.
In 2015, another study was carried out, where 300 mg of CBD oil was applied. The study showed how patients suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Scleroris and ‘essential tremors’.
Now, before you go overboard with joy, keep in mind a few things.
First and foremost, I’m no medical professional. What you see here is just my qualified opinion. Second of all, you can’t make claims that a product ‘works’, just because a couple of studies say so. You have to go deeper and conduct more research.
So, does that mean that CBD oil doesn’t work at all?
Well, clearly not, according to those studies. It would appear that for the people treated for their in those studies, CBD oil helped improve their situation.
So if you have Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Scleroris and you’re really struggling with tremors, or you have a relative or a friend who suffers from that kind of situation, it might be worth a try?
Why not?
You should know where to proceed from here. There are plenty of CBD oil stores out there.
