When your heart is on roids

A guy I know told me about something frightening.

In fact, it was as frightening to him as it was to the other person in the story. It was something that genuinely made him scary and left to wonder what he’d done wrong. And, if he’d caused severe harm to that other person.

Basically what happened was that his daughter was asleep in her bedroom, and it was getting late. He himself wanted to go to bed.

His daughter was 3.5 years or so. Just a little child who, by and large, slept well during night.

However, this night turned out to be quite the opposite.

Shortly before he went to bed, he checked in with his daughter to see how she slept and if she’d kicked off her blanket. She had a bad habit of doing so, thus leaving herself exposed so that she could freeze easily.

This time, however, it was all good. The blanket covered her whole body sans her head, and she even made those little charming snores that little children do. It was all good. Time to go to bed.

After a while he was in dreamland himself.

Things went nice and smooth until about 2AM…

…WHEN ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE IN AN INSTANT!

A CRY SO LOUD, HE THOUGHT THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS BEING TORN APART!

IT SOUNDED LIKE HIS DAUGHTER HAD GOTTEN HOLD OF A BLOWHORN AND CRIED AS LOUD AS SHE COULD!

He’d never heard his daughter cry this loud! Something horrible had happened.

He rushed into her bedroom, expecting the worst.

Had she fallen down and hurt herself? Perhaps she’d cut herself on the rim of her nightlamp? Could there have been an evil predator who’d actually managed to break into her bedroom and started doing things he didn’t even want to think about?

Or did she contract a disease?

Whatever it was, it was serious, and he had find out what it was.

Now.

There was no time to waste.

As he entered the room, he found the blanket on the floor, and his daughter in a flood of tears on the mattress. She was shaking and visibly upset.

He grabbed her and held her in his arms.

No injuries. No visible signs of damage.

Although she was in tremors, still crying, his heart rate lowered. Hers must still have been on roids, because it felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest.

The poor child was soaked in sweat and tears.

Turned out she just had been spooked by a nightmare of some sort.

He mustered a sigh oh relief and allowed her to cosleep with him for that one night.

I don’t know what happened after that, hopefully the poor child didn’t have any other nightmares. But, when I listened to him, he himself seemed visibly upset as he was telling me the whole story.

And I fully understand.

You see, this reminds me of what some of the poor people who suffer from fibromyalgia have to go through, sometimes several nights in a row. Not only do they suffer from pain during the day, they also have horrible nightmares and wake up in the middle of the night, their heart rate racing, drenched in sweat.

Physical pain during the day.

Mental pain during the night.

No time, no place, no way to rest, to heal and to rebuild.

If only there were one thing, or remedy that could possibly curb the pain symptoms and cut them some slack at night.

Something that didn’t demand a prescription from a doctor, or that came with any nasty side effects.

Not to mention, something that didn’t necessarily make them addicted.

CBD oil is in abundance, and is becoming more and more popular as we speak.

You can get it in a lot of online drug and supplement stores.

And now the rest is up to you.
