Why some people hate Christmas

Or, as other people may would have referred to it as; the holidays.

Whichever it is, there are many people who actually don’t look forward to celebrating some time together with their loved ones.

And for the record, I’m not talking about people who have family issues such as verbal and physical abuse. Whatever insane parenting has been out there, I’m alluding to something that, despite not having anything to do with abuse per se, could very well be perceived as worse than such, by the person who goes through it.

What? You’re saying that there’s no such thing that’s worse than abuse?

Well, I won’t exactly die on that hill, I’m just saying that there are many people who, while they haven’t been abused by a person, feel like they’ve been abused by something else.

Something that’s untouchable and that they can’t escape from. Something that they can’t control or try to persuade.

Something that comes whenever they least expect it.

Oh yes.

I think you know what I mean.

That’s right. I’m talking about good ole’ pain. Chronic pain. Suffering. The intense feeling when you wake up and your body feels like it has been subjected to 1,500 hammer blows repeatedly over the night. Literally ever bone, every ligament, every tendon in your body aches. You feel so tired and drained for energy. Like all your power, all your will, all your ability has been zapped out of your body. And the day has just begun.

And now, you have to endure the company of your family who certainly don’t know how feels like to be in chronic pain, because they’ve never ever gone through it.

In fact, they’re the sort of people who tell you to ‘Get over it’ and ‘Quit whining!’, or even maybe they won’t say anything, but instead give you those weird looks. They’ll sigh. And give the impression that you’re a problem in their life and that your company makes everybody miserable.

When in fact you’re the miserable one.

You’re the one who’s suffering from these intense flare ups and pains all over your body. And they have no idea how much energy effort it takes from you to even sit still on a chair and endure a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

Much less to pretend that you’re interested in hearing everyone’s stories about what they’ve been up to this past year, while your situation has only worsened.

After all, telling stories about how it feels like lying in bed or on the couch all day isn’t that fun.

If only there were a way to fix this pain, this relentless, constant pressure of aches.

Well, turns out there is.

But, a warning first.

It won’t do any good for your family. If you struggle with your family’s company and how they make you feel lesser of a human being than they are, you have to deal with that elsewhere.

I don’t know, maybe therapy would be good.

I’m just guessing.

What I’m certainly not guessing at, is how efficient CBD oil can be and how it has literally changed the lives of thousands of people.

Some even claim it feels like they’ve been reborn.

So if you’re tired of asking the doctor for a prescription and you don’t want any side effects from lab developed drugs, then maybe, just maybe, CBD oil could be what the doctor had ordered…

…however, it’s your call.

Your body.

Your health.

Your life.

And, if you choose so, your CBD oil.
